DONATE YOUR DRESS AT SALON POSH’S 1ST ANNUAL LADIES NIGHT
Many high school students don’t think twice about going to their prom – and easily shell out the hundreds of dollars it takes to celebrate that traditional rite of passage in style. But for others, it’s just a dream that requires more money than their families have.
Noel D’Allacco, founder of Operation PROM, teamed up with Salon POSH owner, Diane Mammana, three years ago. “Diane and her staff have volunteered at our dress giveaway events each year. They help girls find the perfect Prom dress, and even donate their services to provide free hair and make-up to girls in need.” On Tuesday, February 7th, Salon POSH is hosting its 1st Annual “Ladies Night”, offering discounted services and showcasing a variety of other beauty based businesses. The salon will collect Prom dresses all day long! “It is an amazing organization, and I am so proud that my salon can give back to the community and encourage everyone to dig into their closets and donate a dress”, says owner, Diane Mammana.
The salon will collect dresses on Tuesday, February 7th from 12pm-9pm. Everyone who donates a dress will receive a free raffle ticket entering them to win 2 VIP tickets to see the new ABC daytime talk show, “The Chew”, with celebrity chef Mario Batali.
Salon POSH is located at 516 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543.
